last minute..

This is what my pile looked like yesterday, I literally just pulled out clothes which I thought would suit the cold cold New York weather. I think every girl does this doesn't she? Chooses clothes, then tries them all on to see if you want to take them? Or is that just me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not usually this organised..at all, however I want to pack lightly so I have plenty of room in my case for shopping.

A day later, I am very happy that I have basically packed and I have what looks to be a very organised case. However now I'm worried that I haven't packed enough! I'll probably get there and have no knickers or socks or something stupid. My mum did that once actually, bless her. So today, I did the few last bits of shopping for NY which included getting a US adapter (totally forgot about that one), a little notepad to take notes for my research and lastly I got some dollars!!!!! Honestly, getting the dollars was so exciting, it doesn't even look like real money, reminds me of monopoly money.

It's around 9 hours till I leave to get my coach to Heathrow. I cannot believe I've been counting down for so long and now I can officially start the countdown in hours.
